The
NYS Concrete Masonry Association first sponsored an appearance by
Christopher Huckabee AIA, to present "Mold in Public Buildings" at
the 2004 edition of the annual AIANYS Chapter conference.
Mr. Huckabee is a nationally recognized authority on the subject of
mold, delivering several presentations around the country for
various organizations, including NCMA at the 2004 MCPX in Atlanta,
GA. He has authored "Mold Resistive Public
Buildings", and is also co-author of "Are You Building a School...or
a Liability?"
Mr. Huckabee is CEO of Huckabee and Associates, an architecture,
engineering & program management firm located in Fort Worth, Texas,
solely dedicated to providing innovative design, planning, and
management of educational facilities. Since the firm's inception in
1967, Huckabee and Associates has successfully completed over 1,100
new construction and retrofit/adaptive re-use educational facility
projects. The recipient of the 2001 AGC "Architectural Firm of the
Year" Award, Huckabee is dedicated to providing educational
facilities that are sound, healthy and functional, yet attractive
and energy-efficient.
